Hypothermia outcome prediction after extracorporeal life support for hypothermic cardiac arrest patients: An external validation of the HOPE score The HOPE score, based on covariates available at hospital admission, predicts the probability of in-hospital survival after extracorporeal life support (ECLS) rewarming of a given hypothermic cardiac arrest patient with accidental hypothermia. Thermal Suit or Forced Air Warming in Prevention of Perioperative Hypothermia: A Randomized Controlled Trial. To prevent perioperative hypothermia, forced air warming blanket was compared with a passive insulation suit.Prospective, open, randomized controlled trial.Thirty patients were scheduled for orthopedic spinal surgery. Hypothermia for newborns with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy Therapeutic hypothermia is a standard of care for infants ≥36 weeks gestational age (GA) with moderate-to-severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.
