Background and Objectives: The aim of this systematic review was to examine the effect of 2% chlorhexidine following acid etching on the microtensile bond strength of resin restorations for different follow-up times. Materials and Methods: A thorough search of PubMed, Scopus, and Embase databases were conducted. In vitro experimental studies or in vivo studies published up (...) to December 2018 with an experimental group treated with a 2% chlorhexidine solution following acid etching and a control group were included, wherein the final restoration used a resin composite in both the groups. Chlorhexidine-Alcohol Compared with Povidone-Iodine Preoperative Skin Antisepsis for Cesarean Delivery: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. To compare chlorhexidine-alcohol with povidone-iodine solutions for skin antisepsis prior to cesarean delivery for the prevention of surgical site infection.Electronic databases MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, and Clinicaltrials.gov were searched from inception to August 2017. Eligible studies included randomized controlled trials comparing chlorhexidine (...) . However, the prevention of the surgical site infection (SSI) and the incidence of skin adverse events do not reach a consistent statement and conclusion. Chlorhexidine-Related Mortality Rate in Critically Ill Subjects in Intensive Care Units: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. This meta-analysis aimed to explore the chlorhexidine-related mortality rate for subjects on mechanical ventilation and in an ICU when compared with subjects who received standard ICU care.We searched a number of medical literature databases and the first 100 results in an internet search. Two of us independently reviewed the titles and abstracts of the identified (...) participants were critically ill adults in ICU settings of high-income countries (n = 1157) and low/ middle-income countries (n = 612).
